How to get your laundry under control once and for all!

As a mom of 5, laundry is never done. We were drowning in clothes until I decided something needed to change with our laundry routine.

Changes That Helped Immediately: I stopped sorting by color and used color catching sheets instead. We ruthlessly decluttered our clothes.

We Stopped Folding We still hang shirts, but pants and shorts get stacked neatly in drawers, laying flat. No more folding.

We started putting ALL dirty clothes in our tiny laundry room. Not having to rush around collecting laundry saves a TON of time!

How to Catch Up on Mountains of Laundry: You may have to go to a laundromat. If you can spare just one day to tackle it all at once, you only have to keep up from there. Yes, it'll be a boring day, but you'll feel so accomplished and if you make the changes I've suggested, you'll never have to do it again.

What we're trying now with 5 kids! Having less clothes solved about 70% of the laundry problem we had. Not folding anything solved about 10% more. The rest is just neatly taking clothes out of the dryer and having a 30 minute dance party every Sunday to put it away.
