You’ve probably seen a million of these ring stacking toys since becoming a parent, but what I really love about this one is that it will last generations and the colors are still vibrant and intriguing to young eyes.
My toddler absolutely loves playing with shape sorting toys. This one will last forever and is basically indestructible.
I don’t know about you, but these always remind me of a doctor’s office. I used to love playing with these every time I’d go to my dentist, but never owned one of my own. We bought a couple just like this for our toddler for Christmas this year.
I love that it’s a no-mess toy. There aren’t small balls or pieces to lose or step on. It’s completely contained.
This is perfect for our 5 month old who is quickly learning to use his hands.
Who didn’t have these when they were little?! Every kid needs ABC blocks. It’s just a right of passage. Plus, you’re not a parent until you’ve stepped on one.
These are actually a great price for 50 of them. For babies, they’re easy to pick up and are light enough to hold and explore. For toddlers, they’re great for coaxing out words, and perfect for learning to spell later.
If you’d rather your little one have wooden blocks instead of plastic mega blocks, these are a great choice. They’re perfect for building towers to tear down and to encourage creative play.
Our toddler is getting a play kitchen for Christmas, so naturally he needs some food to go with it. I love the idea of wooden food instead of plastic because I feel like we’ll be able to use it forever. It should last through all of our kids and still be in great shape.
Do you try to buy wooden toys instead of plastic ones? What are some of your favorites? Let me know in the comments!
